 In the past several weeks I have seen very little in the news about Gaza that has been unbiased. In fact, I'm fairly sure I've seen none at all. I've seen a lot of protests against Israel, a lot of pictures of the destruction happening in Gaza, and the overwhelming support from the US government for Israel. Today, I went to a ceili at St. Timothy's school which is a kindergarten through something school loosely connected with this college. They're learning Latin at five years old, bless them. Besides dancing with a few five year olds I taught Samantha how to Irish skip and I danced the male part for the first time in one of the more contra style ( Read more... )

Last week in my medicine class my professor, Dr. John Patrick, spoke about abortion and in his bluntly British way pointed out to us that the concept of genetic screening came straight out of the Nazi handbook.
