Science class was cancelled today so I did what any self-respecting female student would do and went to the mall. I said a prayer on the way that I would be able to find a conservative and suitable dress for Valentine's Day and about thirty minutes later I was out the door of a really lovely store with lovely people with my new lovely--and very conservative--little black dress. And it was on sale for 1/3 of the original price. I also bought my first pair of red shoes to go on my first Valentine's Day date with my first real boyfriend. I feel like a giddy sixteen year old schoolgirl. Only, this is so much better than being sixteen. God has been very good to me.
Did I mention that Victor can salsa dance? And plays the drums? And plays soccer? And goes to church twice on Sunday?
Yes, again I must say, God has made my life quite an adventure.
Ah, well Latina me vocat. I have a Latin quiz tomorrow and I should really either sleep or study.
By the way, I enjoyed watching the Super Bowl with a bunch of Canadians this past weekend, although, I must say it was quite interesting being the most committed fan in the room for once. And I just chose to cheer for the Steelers because they're East Coast and well, "We dey..."
Ah, polite and peace loving Canadians.
