NaNoWriMo Update, Day 10 of 30
Okay, so it's nearing the end of Day 10 of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). I've still got a few hours to get some productive writing done before bed. I usually handwrite my chapters first, then after 2-3 days I'll type them up, more to get an idea of where I stand than anything. As of right now, my total word count is 8,651 words. As several of you may know, coming up in November is National Novel Writing Month, better known as NaNoWriMo. It's an event that runs the month of November, and it encourages writers to write 50K words on a novel during the 30 days of November. I've been doing the event since 2009, and have yet to win. Update on Recent Goings On
Okay so I’ve been busy lately. On Monday I came to the Carl D. Perkins Vocational Training Center and have been busy with the WAP (Work Adjustment Program) since then. Luckily I have the weekend off, so yeah. I’ll be staying here until about Christmas time and then I’ll go home until after the New Year. Then I’ll hopefully return to the Center to ( Read more... ) -
Update
Over the last week or two, I've been having one heck of a time getting some writing done. Been writing several short pieces & over the last few days have been planning the novel I hope to write over Camp NaNoWriMo in July.

A Bit of a Noveling Rant
Okay, so I'm doing Camp NaNoWriMo in July, which is about 2-3 weeks away yet. However, I have started to plan out what I'm gonna write. It was unanimous on Facebook, where I did a poll. A Little Observation
Okay, so I've noticed something about myself. It seems that the following equation applies to me:
some caffeinated soda + late night (or two) unable to sleep + music blaring in my ears = interesting trains of thought

Writing Update
Okay, so I've been working on writing for the Runaway Tales community. I came up with a good idea for a series--which is currently called 'The Omega Chronicles'. Victory!! Progress at Last!!
Okay, so on my other journal selene_lupis, I joined the Runaway Tales community. I copied and pasted a few of the prompts from there (most of them are one word prompts) to a MSWord document & then printed it off at a place I go to 3 days a week.
