Yay! Oh that was a lovely ending- Donna's going to stay with her Doctor, no force on Earth is going to make her change her mind :D

And the epilogue is just great- so many adventures to be had!

Yay! Finally, the final chapters! And I love it. Donna and Martha understanding the Doctor at last and realising why he's the way he is - and what they've each done to help him. Jack and the Doctor putting the past behind them, and becoming lovers... and surely that's not just intended as a one-off, is it?

Donna travelling with the Doctor again is just the way it should be, and I loved Rose being a tiny part of this regeneration. Of course Jack would see it the way he did!

The Doctor's explanation for why he had to wipe Donna's mind bothered me so much (a female character getting punished for having two much knowledge just squicks my feminist self). I always felt it had much more to do with what the Doctor told Donna about the way he sees the universe when they were in Pompeii, and it explains so much about him, too. I'm really glad that worked for you.

Actually, and this is just my humble opinion, but the events of CoE cemented the Ten/Jack pairing for me. Yes, it's warped and weird and whatever, but they need each other. To imagine them not in each others lives is too horribly depressing to contemplate

Oh, yes. Totally. That ending was just asking for a Ten/Jack follow-up. (Yes, busy working on it now!) At this point, the only person in the universe who can understand Jack is the Doctor...and vice versa.

I love that Jack manages to come to term with the Doctor's deeds and his reactions - Jack's so forgiving, isn't he? Can't wait to see them interact in the sequel! :)

(And I completely agree on he waiting to post thing - I'm always so terrified I might get stuck that I can't get myself to start posting until the story is complete, except maybe for some editing of the final chapters.)
