Year/Position: Be specific; the school runs from kindergarten all the way through college
Non/Speaking Animal/Companion(if any): Examples: Abu, Carpet, Xerxes [Aladdin], Pegasus [Hercules], Pascal [Tangled]. Please note that if you’re a princess and the forest creatures come running at the sound of your voice, they do not count.
Powers: A description of your character's supernatural or unusual powers, if applicable.
Canon history: A brief history of the canon history of your character. You may link to an existing wiki/info page on the web.
AU history: Please give us a history which fits into the context and world of this game. If you need any help with this, please contact your canonmates and/or the mods! Returning characters, please add on a few sentences to your previous AU to update it.
Personality: The characterization of whom you are apping. This is an important section, so please be sure to fill this out thoroughly. At least a few detailed paragraphs are suitable, since we expect that you've done your homework on your character. And take note, even though this is an AU game, please do not change the core personality of the character from canon. Leave that to the personal growth and interactions in-game! Please use examples from canon as evidence.
Greatest Fear: This is meant to be an in-depth study of your character's greatest fear. This cannot be generic or silly, but something very specific to your character's experiences and life. Use characterization to your benefit here.
Has your character been at the Academy before/ does your character remembering being at the Academy before?: Are you a new person who's chosen a character played at the previous game? Check this list to make sure! There’s no harm in bringing them in new, just please make sure to state that the Mist had wiped their previous memories clean!
What are you plans with this character?:This is a very plot based game with in-depth characters. While not every event or post has to have serious and create intense CR, the relationships and bonds you gain with others do play a key factor in the direction of your character. This doesn't have to be long or even seriously in-depth, but we want to see that you put some thought in your choice of who to app.

How has the Black Mist affected your character’s memory at all?: Basically, this is an opportunity to take your character and freshen them up for this sequel. For instance, if you want to take them from an earlier canon point or have events from the last game wiped from their memory, simply explain here. We don't want anyone to have to carry over null and void player plots.
Are there any noteworthy events that happened to your character in the previous game?: Examples: Rescues/fail rescues, kidnappings, intense player plots. Basically anything that has had an immense impact on your character and may alter their behavior that you plan on continuing in this new game.
♠ Writing
Third person writing sample: A sample of your writing style, in third person. This is in the format of a log post, in other words, prose. This should be handled as if your character is in the game and should be at least 300 words long. Please make sure to check this section for the right amount of words; you may use this word counter if your writing program does not have one. Use this as an opportunity to show off how your character's inner thought process, behaviors, mannerisms, etc; keep it dialogue light, please. Hint: Past appers have found this section easiest to write by describing the events/journey's leading up to their character’s arrival.
First person writing sample: This should be handled as if you were writing an entry into w-disneyacademy. That means action style with formatted brackets. This should be about a paragraph long, at least around 9 sentences, once again, written as if you were in game already. These sentences must be comprised of dialogue and/or your character's internal thought process. You are more then welcome to use as much description as needed; however, it will not count towards your 9 sentences. This will show us that you can capture the characters voice and how they actually speak. Hint: Past appers have found this section easiest to write by acting as if it is their character’s introductory post.

✒ Check for proper grammar, syntax, and errors such as typos; sloppy writing will hurt your app!
✒ Check your castmate’s apps (if there are any) and/or any past apps for your character to make sure the information is consistent!
✒ Reread everything to make sure you app has been filled out correctly!
✒ If your character comes from a part of the world currently covered in Mist, please explain in your AU how/when they evacuated! Those stuck in the Mist cannot come to the Academy!
✒ Make sure your character isn’t taken or reserved!
✒ If apping a Kingdom Hearts character, please check the FAQ for information on their special AUs!
✒ Do not plagiarize! If you absolutely must use a quote or a statement from elsewhere, use quotations and cite a source! If you do not, depending on how severe the plagiarism is, we will either ask for a revision (and give you a warning for future posts, threads, and/or apps), or deny the app completely. We will be checking all applications for this.
