Seven Seas will be releasing Alice in the Country of Joker: Circus and Liar's Game, and Crimson Empire: Circumstances to Serve a Noble. Since I was able to read through Seven Seas' english adaption of CnKnA Bloody Twins, I felt like posting my thoughts on the translation. First off, they stuck much more close to the original work than Tokyopop did with the official HnKnA manga. I took a trip out to lake Michigan for the weekend. The weather wasn't that accommodating until today, but one day was enough. It was absolutely gorgeous out there. Most of the shops in the area were closed on Sunday though(I'm guessing it was a religious thing?).

I'm just writing because I feel so happy right now. The english Hakuoki game has such gorgeous art, and the story is pretty good as well. My feelings on the translation are a little more complex though. Sometimes I think the text doesn't sound as natural as it should for a smooth transition from Japanese to English. This weekend I was finally able to read through ジョーカーの国のアリス～サーカスと嘘つきゲーム～ vol.1, and since I've heard various people speculating over whether to get it or not, I will tell you this, "It is worth it!".
