Just watched the Alice movie

Imagine you are on a roller coaster looking through a kaleidoscope. That is my impression of the Heart no Kuni no Alice movie summed up in a single sentence. I thought the plot would become clearer as I watched it, but suddenly the credits began to roll, and I realized there had been no plot.  The scenes continually jumped all over the place and

I kinda figured such a thing would happen, if just because of all the different things that could happen in the games. But I'm glad the movie had some good points ^^ One of these days I may hunt it down, but I don't think I'm going to make it a priority - it would probably make my head spin a bit too much, lol.

I know. I was wondering how Quinrose was going to make a movie that made any sense within the given time frame. An anime series would have been much better IMO. If you watch the movie have some medication on hand, lol. The colors are everywhere!

What really gets to me is that we know Quinrose is capable of making an awesome, intelligent plot. So why did they slap a movie together with very little thought? (obviously money...but besides that?)

It's almost like they're timing themselves, trying to see how quickly they can make something and get it out to market. Like it's a race with themselves.

It's a bad idea, but money can motivate people to do strange things, and as long as the fandom is still there, there is no reason for them to stop now.
