I Recommend Joker no Kuni no Alice ~Circus and Liar Game~
This weekend I was finally able to read through ジョーカーの国のアリス～サーカスと嘘つきゲーム～ vol.1, and since I've heard various people speculating over whether to get it or not, I will tell you this, "It is worth it!". All the characters are portrayed very well. Even Blood is extremely likeable in it IMO. Alice also shows more of a reaction when she see's Julius and Gowland again. This made my fan girl heart flutter like crazy. You get to see more of Joker being cunning behind the scenes, and interacting with the other members of the circus too. There are just so many things that this book brings out so vividly that the game doesn't go into as much detail about. And so far in the first volume I don't see any evidence of a pairing yet. It's still unclear if Alice will end up with anybody or not. And I don't know if it hints to anything, but she seems to be staying in the Heart's Castle.
It's killing me not to give more detail about actual scenes, but I don't want to bring up a bunch of spoilers and ruin things for the people that plan on getting the book for themselves. Well, no matter which characters you are a fan of, they all have their moment to shine in this book. The only thing that sucks is waiting for vol.2.
And this is completely unrelated, but I also started playing Okashi na Shima no Peter Pan and I am head over heels in love with this game. It feels like the first time I played Heart no Kuni no Alice(am I almost done with the prologue yet...? lol). When it came time to choose a character route, I liked all the characters and couldn't decide, so I just chose to work my way down the list on the walkthrough I'm using. And there are so many good BGMs. I'm only sad that there won't be a PC version, because I get tired of using my kanji dictionary sometimes(after a while I tend to get lazy and skip kanji that I don't think will hinder my understanding of the story).
