Sallyverse, Take... 5? 6?
I'll probably have a few entries later today, babbling about Veronica Mars (amazing), Civil War 7 (better than I expected, though not great), and all the other comics I'm going to read today.
But right now, I have to recommend this to the flist. It's another chapter in what I am officially calling the Sallyverse, formerly known as the "Cap and Tony are My Two Dads" 'verse. In this one, written by imaginaryalice, she gets a puppy!
Also, last night likeadeuce cast Michelle Trachtenberg as Sally, and then there was a conversation about Sally dating Simon Tam and/or Kaylee Frye.
I LOVE THAT MY CRAZY KEEPS SPREADING.
Eventually, I'm going to have to make an entry with the official Sallyverse directory. (And also babble about the self-indulgent Sallyverse fic going on in my head right now where Sally is about four and Cap and Tony come out as a couple - as Steve and Tony, not Captain America and Iron Man, because this is before either of their secret identities were known - and Cap accuses Tony of thinking that he's nothing more than his property, after Tony suggests that their cover story be that they met because Cap was his personal trainer.)
I love being delightfully insane.
[E.T.A. resolute points out that this is practically a masterlist already. So, for the sake of completion, here's the timeline below:
Age 1 or 2: Sally Stark-Rogers is found and adopted after surviving a supervillain attack, in crazy ramblings by me and likeadeuce. Mpreg is mentioned, but thankfully discarded as an option.
Age 4: Aforementioned "coming out" scene.
Age 6: Sally gets a puppy according to imaginaryalice
Age 16: Sally brings home a boy to meet her dads, and everyone behaves like they would in the Thin Man movies, according to resolute. She also names her for the first time. This, the first real "fic" in this crackverse, is directly inspired by my original cracktastic suggestion post that started it all. In this fic, the boy she dates is named Ben, but likeadeuce suggests she may also be dating Simon Tam or Kaylee Frye. Also, at this age, Sally looks like Michelle Trachtenberg.
Age 19: Sally, now a hard-partying socialite, enters rehab, according to me.
Also, at some point, imaginaryalice created some icons, one of which is the lovely one I've been using on all these entries. And then she made some more icons, based on the casting ideas thrown about in the comments on this post.
Feel free to fill in any missing years you wish, or write fics based on my sketchy ideas. I heartily encourage this group effort. Just to throw a bone out there - could Sally possibly be a mutant? Would she go to the Xavier Institute?]
