For about a month now one of my hamsters has been sick. She has some sort of respiratory problem. I say "some sort" because no one can figure out what is wrong with her. Hi, I have a problem. The vet that I've taken my hamster to just doesn't quite do it for me. He doesn't specialize in small animals either but he's the closest vet I can get to on foot AND in this cold weather too. I don't want to get her sick, you know? I posted a few hours ago about Ivan's sleepwalking incident yesterday. Well, today I heard him drinking in the cage, and thought I'd go see if he wanted to come out and play. Does anyone have a SF Bay Area vet they'd recommend? My dwarf seems to have an eye infection.

We took Kitty to the vet's today regarding her cloudy eye and she had quite an adventure! It was the first time she's been for an outing since we got her in October.
