Do we ever get over the people from our past? Or does the pain simply dull over time?

I appear to be happy.
And for once I am trying not to 2nd guess, or undermine it.
So I'm shooting for this to last folks.
In other words, don't piss me off!

And then my tenure at Earthlink ends.
And then, time off for a bit to rediscover and redesign myself.
And then (hopefully) grad school, which will take a bit to get ready for and into
And then hopefully a PhD, a job, and a career that doesn't make me suicidal or give me another hear

So starting next month, i get to begin the task of looking for a new job. I am finishing a training class or two in the next week, and will then be updating the resume with a few things. Then I get to start the task of looking for a new place to work ( Read more... )

I have met, talked to or heard from a number of people over the years that believe that religion is a bad thing, that there is no God, and that all forms of religious institution should be banished. A number of them also feel that science proves this, and they speak of it in a manner to where it becomes not science but Science in the same manner ( Read more... )
