And on June 18th of next year, my time at my current job will be one of those things.
I just got home, where today i was told about this (and then allowed to leave for the day).
I have 8 months, and I am getting a severance package of 24 weeks of pay (plus 4 months of Cobra), so I am in no immediate danger. I have resources available to fall back on as well.
But it still sucks.
I am numb, and little dazed, and trying to process it all.
