There are some things on HBI that I don't agree with, but hey, I think it was Natalie who said this, the thing is, HBI doesn't have an official party line, so there are differing opinions. The anger article was one that I do agree with.

The more I think about it, the more I object, because dude, not only is this public space, it's public space the students pay for. This inaccurate ad has been annoying be for days now, so I wonder how I could go about filing a formal complain instead of whining over LJ. I hate it when people talk at me, they pretend to listen while their eyes glaze over, not really considering anything you say at all, only waiting for an opening, latching onto any word often out of context, so they can start preaching back at you their views, without having to listen to yours, or they wouldn't let you speak at all ( Read more... )

I propose we start launching spitballs at the loud, giggling, "OMG HOW WAS YOUR WEEKEND" types. Except use glue instead of actual spit, because the later is ew and this is flu season.
