Who else has 'go to' characters? The ones where all you have to do is let them in the story and it starts moving? Joe from Highlander and Oz from Buffy do that for my fic, as do Dief and Fraser from due South, Matthew or Connor from Highlander, LaCroix from Forever Knight, Saul from the Nero Wolfe novels. I'm trying to remember who out of the HL fandom I've had interact with Oz. I'm coming up with Joe, Greg Powers, and Carl Robinson and Cory Raines.
