Well, let's see. jcbdragon, alysswolf, anaith and I drove to Nashville Friday evening, packed 95% of the kitchen up on Saturday morning, and then drove that, all of our art, and various other fragile stuff (four vehicles worth) back to Memphis and unloaded it. Yay! We bought a house! Well, okay we co-own a house with our mortgage company, but hey. Next step: moving! About three weeks from now is the plan; this weekend, we'll be pulling carpets off hardwood floors, and buying appliances, and setting up appointments... but yay! HOUSE!

A couple of my friends are having rough days and hugs have been distributed, but inside 90 minutes I've had one friend get a new job she wanted, another sell her parents' house (getting the tax burden off her shoulders and money into her accounts next week!), and a third is happily pregnant. Nice to have good news!
