The door burst open at just after 8am. 8:00:30am to be exact. She'd been pacing outside his door for the past fifteen minutes. Past rememberences of wandering in while he was in variable states of dress and various shouting matches ensuing had stayed her feet until the semi-sociable hour of eight.

"Morning!"

She was bright and breezy and came baring breakfast pastries. Instead of her usual red dress, she was wearing what generally amounted to her riding clothes, long trousers that looked like a skirt that stopped just below the knee, long, sturdy boots and a cute little blouse.

A little before seven, Gwendal had awoken, feeling refreshed. He'd gotten dressed and then proceeded to pace in his room, for what seemed like ages. He'd attempted to pick up a novel to read, only to set it down having no interest in the words.

Then he'd stare out the window, but nothing was happening outside. The temptation to return to his office was strong, but he resisted. He wondered what was taking Anissina so long. He was so confident that she'd show up at some un-godly hour and wake him up.

But when that didn't happen he was at a loss. Maybe he didn't know his friend quite as well as he thought he did.

And it was as he was pondering this, sitting at his end table with a game of chess where he was playing against himself that his door burst open to reveal the lady in question.

"Morning! She was wearing riding clothes as opposed to her dress and he would have to admit that they certainly flattered her fit figure. He on the other hand simply wore his green uniform, it was quite comfortable after all, made for both ( ... )

Damn he's dressed

Anissina beamed at him. "No, silly, I just don't want you falling off your horse before we're half way there from hunger."

She looked at him curiously. "You're wearing your uniform? That's not very relaxed. Remember" Her finger went up in the air as she smiled at him. "It's a day away from work and full of relaxing. Surely you must have something in your wardrobe more ... less ..." She gestured to the greenery. "that!"

Without waiting for an answer, she stormed his wardrobe, flinging the doors open and diving amidst the many, many sets of green uniforms.

He watched her look through his closet and suppressed a laugh as all she would find were his uniforms. Perhaps she had a point though, he had a few clothes outside of his green military uniform ( ... )

He left Conrad’s room leading the direction to the stables, mood soured.
"Those damn fish better be biting," he cursed. This is what happens when he tried to do the nice, older brother bit. That will teach him. Conrad could take care of himself, he didn't need his older brother to greet him and smile and try and make him feel welcome.
The whole damn castle could do that at the party.

"I'm sure that something will catch your line today... And if not, I have your favourite foods, the cold ones anyway in my magical hamper. It's not magical or anything it's just a really big hamper. No inventions. I promised!" Anissina tried to distract Gwendal, or at least make him less frowny!

She pointed to the horses out by the stables through a window, two horses saddled, and one that seemed strained under the weight of a saddlebag picnic basket.

He knew he was being difficult and she was trying to cheer him. "Thank you Anissina," he says upon reaching the horses ( ... )

"Oooooh, I forgot totally about the party tonight. I wonder who I should ask to escort me." Anissina teased as she mounted her horse.

She hadn't had an escort since her debutante ball back in Khrennikov and even then it was more down to friendship - and a brief fling - and even she knew that Gwendal knew it. She'd had just the right dress made by the wonderful mades of the castle, perfect to blow Gwendal's eyes right out of his head shock any male targets she might set her eyes on tonight.

Quickly, she called over a stable boy and told him where they were heading, just in case of emergency. He was one of the trustworthy ones, mainly because of her helping with the local school.

"Just in case someone needs us urgently." Anissina told Gwendal. "He won't tell anyone but if we are needed, Tom here will ride out to get us. Now .. shall we leave?" She smiled.

He wasn't sure how much time had passed while he eagerly kissed the red-headed beauty. It wasn't until his stomach began to churn that he realized his hunger, the nutritional sort, not the primal sort of hunger.

He pulled away from the lucious lips and moved his right hand away from her, supporting her weight mostly from his legs and with his left hand. He wriggled his fingers, "Pruny," he observed. "And I'm hungry. Let's eat some of that lunch you brought?" he suggested.

Anissina was hungry too, but in that primal, it's been too long way. She parted resignedly, panting hard. She kept her legs wrapped around Gwendal as he moved towards the bank, smiling at him.

"Sure, darling. So what would you like to eat? I have sandwiches, pastries, fruit, vegetables, sweets, sides, dessert, juices, wines... Well, the list goes on, but I'm sure that I have something you'd like to nibble on!" She winked at Gwendal.

"You know you're my favorite treat to nibble on," Gwendal said kissing her lips softly as he walked them both out of the water.

Anissina's legs were still wrapped around his waist and he gave up the idea of her releasing him anytime soon. He sat under the tree, keeping Anissina in his lap. He ran his fingers through her silky, red hair.

"How about some of those grapes? My hands are full, will you feed me?" He opened his mouth expectantly.

She hummed as he kissed her lips, letting her eyes close and losing herself in the sensations. It was a bit bumpy when they manoeuvered their way down to the ground. She wiggled a bit, before finding the comfiest spot.

She picked up the grapes and carefully plucked one from the bunch and let it run over Gwendal's lips before moving it close and closer to his mouth and then at the last minute, snatching it away and swallowing it herself. She couldn't help but giggle at her teasing.
