Day 51, Morning, Gwendal's chambers -->Fishing trip
After what seemed like a month of tedious nothing, yesterday had been remarkably eventful.
Around noon he had been minding his own business with sword's play when he was interrupted by the other world’s Elizabeth and somehow he ended up reading her a book in the library. When he returned to the library to put the book on it's proper shelf due to his OCD personality he had a conversation with the other Anissina. It had made him long for a genuine conversation with his world's Anissina, one that didn't involve experiments or government affairs.
That afternoon he was making arrangements for Yuuri’s outdoor office when Anissina found him. It seems that she still cares for him, as he cares for her. It is a possibility he'd truly enjoy exploring. He agreed to spend the day on holiday with his Nisa today. Which is why he snuck out into his office during the night to do more paperwork. It was there that he saw from his window Conrad’s return. As he was leaving to retire to his chambers he had a run in with Wolfram.
He lay stretched out on his stomach, arms tucked under his pillow supporting his head, listening and waiting for his door to open and Anissina to come and force him on a vacation. Would their plans to go off together be altered now that Conrad has returned? He’s glad he’s back, but he would much rather spend the day exploring his feelings for Nisa privately than joining in the celebration Hieka and his mother have been planning. He’d like to speak with Conrad, but now does not seem to be the time.
Maybe it would be best if he waited for Conrad to come to him. In the meantime, Gwendal would go off fishing with Anissina…and hopefully catch something more worthwhile than a fish! He stretched his muscles, grateful for the previous evening's massage as he felt more relaxed than he had in months. A breeze came blowing in from his open window, the cool dawn air brushed across the bare skin of his back and Gwendal fell back into a peaceful slumber.
