Sadness
Hours after my last post my Mother passed. She waited until my sister got there. She and I were on either side of her holding her hands. She took her last breath. I felt her spirit leave. My husband brother and son had been moving her things out of her room. I had called them to say come back. They got 5 minutes after she passed. I am still numb ( Read more... ) -
End of life
Another twist in my Mothers journey. Last week she had a stroke. The Doctor came in to explain what was going on. She had a stroke which kick started an on going but undiagnosed leukemia. My daughter and I sat there in total shock. My Mother,who the day before I was making lunch plans,now has weeks to live ( Read more... ) -

I was sitting out back reading,ain't retirement grand! I was stuck by how loud the cicadas were. I love this sound. -

So hot today!!!! 77% humidity. Too much for this high desert girl. Went out early to mess around with my flowers. Really too hot to do much so I took pictures. Here's a few.

I haven't been here for a very long time. On a whim I thought I would poke around. So much has happened since I last posted. I am a retired woman now. I have much more time for myself. It's lovely thing. -

Just a small thought
I haven't been around much in a long while. The last few years I found my self pulling inside and working on clearing out behaviors that work against staying positive.
