Dementia is so difficult -- on everyone involved. Your daughter sounds amazing and caring and I'm very glad your mom decided to trust her with this task. It takes a lot to give up a piece of your independence.

Hardest thing to do. I was so proud of her when she volunteered to give up her car years ago. It was time I was dreading the conversation.

Dementia is such a thief. My family has been affected by it and I understand what a difficult time you all are experiencing. Fortunately, your mom has a caring and loving support system with your daughter and you.

Sorry, have been so out of it. Sleep apnea and hotel stay after water damage. Not keeping up well. What is the surgery for?
