Here in the Pittsburgh area it has been in the teens, single digits and negatives for 3 weeks. Worse than CO. Fucking nasty. I. Want. Palm trees.

So I just finished one of the scariest novels I have ever read. That is saying something. No one else to share this info with. Sorry. The Deep by Nick Cutter. Bottom of the Mariana Trench deep underwater horrifically claustrophobic total Lovecraftian mind fuck. Insanity is almost worse, maybe better, than the entities that exist outside of our world that transcend evil because their harm to us is incidental. Not even malicious. Simply do not care. Or maybe our suffering is their food. Ending is left to one's imagination. I both hate and love you ambiguous writers. Making me use my own brain... Aaarrr...
