We're back in the 'stock, as Spooky has dubbed our refuge in the shadow of Overlook Mountain, at the southeastern edge of the Catskill Escarpment. In the past two days, I've had about 8 hours sleep (not counting two power naps, a few minutes each). Today the wendigo is wailing down Overlook Mountain, whipping up snow and snapping limbs. The sun is a wide and carnivorous blue. The land is crystalline white, and the sky is bottomless blue.
