Finally back from the hospital.  I don't have Leukemia, but I do have a form of Anemia that will be lifelong it seems.

Recently I've been watching massive quantities of One Piece, and I have to admit that within a span of five episodes (279-283) I teared up and almost cried four times.  No show has ever been this powerful to me.  There have been shows in the past that have evoked a similar response, but usually once or twice across the entire series ( Read more... )

Well, it's time to try to break down some of those goals into manageable tasks. Some of them are a bit more difficult to do this for, but I'm going to at least give it an attempt that can be smoothed over in a second pass. The last few days have been okay.  I was riding a pretty nice high for a bit, and it hasn't 100% gone away.  I had a day in which things began to degrade again, but I turned it around using the toolbox of skills learned in therapy.  I'm actually pretty happy with the way things work with that.  It's strange to see exactly how much they've learned ( Read more... )
