new diet, according to my nutri sci class

Our class made us buy a "My Diet Analysis" program to help calculate our dietary needs and what we're actually eating, so on.  So, given that I am a female, almost 19, 5' 3", 123 lbs, with a weight loss goal of 1 lb per week, I should be eating 1497 calories ( Read more... )

wait, melly im confused. does that mean you don't exercise? because like...i need 2400 calories to maintain weight and its only recommended to cut back 500 calories. and how many pounds are you trying to lose by slowing down your metabolism? because you know you have to maintain that new metabolism right?

i do not exercise. I walk about 1 hr a day and i run about like....45 minutes per week.

trying to cut 10-14 lbs by end of year so that i weigh 110 before china.

ummi think best diet is the low glycemic index one. all the other ones seem to slow down your metabolism. but this one lets you eat about the same amount. and it actually gives you more energy because it makes you eat healthy stuff before you eat junk so then youre so full you don't crave junk food. it's also easiest to follow...

Wow, good luck with that diet. I prefer to try and work out (especially because technically I'm paying for our gym's membership; I'm kind of failing at keeping up a routine though) and hope that somewhat makes up for the fact that I eat very unhealthily. :P
