I live about a 10 minute walk from Lakeridge Health Oshawa (the hospital) & I get the freaking Bowmanville placement for next semester. How craptacular! I just had my mask-fit testing. The purpose of a mask-fit testing is to make sure that you find the best mask that works for you to prevent you from inhaling pathogens if you're working with a really infectious patient. My professor gave me 70% on a paper worth 35%. She made two corrections on my whole paper, one of them being her circling the words "a lot" as a spelling error. I learned in elementary school that "a lot" (as in very much, large amounts, etc.) is NOT ONE WORD. There is the word "allot" as in "she completed it in the allotted time slot". ( Read more... )

Ummm so Ted & I are back together and I'm sure you saw that all coming at some point anyway it was just a matter of when (like now versus in 3 years). Hurray!
