I stole the idea from a restaurant to make a Lebanese iced tea martini with Iced Tea vodka, sweet and sour, and rose water. The restaurant had used too much sweet and sour, and that's all I tasted. Today I discovered that a little rose water goes a long way. I now have a martini glass full of perfume to drink. Yummy.

I'm trying to decipher Russ' last text message before his phone died. He has been in a boat all day out of Cameron, testing the new thingy he made. Last night I went to refill insulin and was nonchalantly told by my friendly neighborhood pharmacist that it would cost $206. I ran (jogged actually) the Susan G. Komen 5-K in 40:23, which I'm pretty happy with. It took me about 1-2 minutes to get to the start line because of crowds, so I may start telling people I did it in 39:23. One bad thing about the breast cancer race is the insane number if strollers. Matt's funeral was yesterday. It was easily the worst day of my life. It hurts so much to know I'll never see him again.
