Surgery scheduled for Thursday morning.
Mom is having her modified radical mastectomy Thursday morning at Northbay. Reconstruction to be scheduled later.
I'll probably not be as on top of elecronic communications as I usually am, but that shouldn't be a cause for alarm. -
Mom Health Update (short & hopefull)
The doctor called her with the results of the scan from last Saturday. No cancer detected except in the place that the biopsy was from. Hurrah for early detection. I am going up next Wednesday to go to the oncologist with her. -
and the weekend update! Starting Wednesday night...{Long & possibly redundant ;-)}
I went up to my folks house Wednesday night in preparation for the King Tut exhibit with my mom the next day. Mom had news; she had a lump in her last mammogram and the follow on biopsy had cancer cells in it. The shoes,,,
The shoes from the last post are comfortable so far, though not my first choiice for driving the car.
They are also entirely man made materials, so I'm not sure if polishing them will protect them or not.
I came down with a sluggish waterfall of snot, so I'm staying home today and not sharing. If fact I'm going back to bed right now.
