Out of all the Astoria Trip photos these I think are the best. The door photos are next and im going to really take my time with them. Im not sure I Will post many here or not yet though.

This is the shot of the interior to the old store. I SO SO SO SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Want to shoot in here. I have all kinds of ideas already laid out as to how I want my models and where I want them and you should see the front display case (not in this picture) its is AWSOME! Still working with the chamber and trying to get permission though.

So here is attempt number two in my hand coloring trials. It is one of my favorite images from my Hidden Beauty set and to be honest, it was a real pain in the ass to get the stripes in her shirt done without to much bleeding over, even though I tried to clean up the white stipes later with the stuff in the Marshalls kit. My first attempt at hand coloring with photo oils. I kept it simple, or so I thought as you can see a lot of smear marks from my hands in the darker areas. But overall im pleased with the results none the less. Shot with 120mm 3200 delta film.

I have printed up some shots, including the location shots. I sure did find some truly awsome spots for a shoot or three, now I just need the money, the props/clothes, and the models. Oh yeah, and the permission to shoot at the one place in particular. I also got some really cool shots for the coffee table book on this set although the more I look ( Read more... )

I have yet to contact the original owner of the building but I have found a super awesome location for a shoot. I will need more lights, two or three models, a few old old long dresses for the models, white and black both, a REAAAAALLY tall ladder, various makeup to make real skin look like fake plasticy skin you would see on maniquins as well as a ( Read more... )

I got my new Lensbaby 2.0 today. Can hardly watit to check it out. I am also stuck sitting around the house today though as the new Yashica Mat LM should be showing up too.
