Out of all the Astoria Trip photos these I think are the best. The door photos are next and im going to really take my time with them. Im not sure I Will post many here or not yet though.
I like this one due to the fact you can see both the Anchor and the Astor Column in one shot. =) The white building is a bit bleached out but I was having trouble burning it and running low on paper.
So far, the one thing I have noticed about shooting medium format is trying to get really good focus with the enlarder. It was easy with the delta 3200 but finding the grain with the 100 speed film I tried and even the 400, was next to impossible. I think I need a more powerful grain finder maybe. I also notice that with the Mamiya 645 AFD it picked up every single little tiny detail in the image with either film and therefore is very unforgiving where as the old school Yashica mat LM camera picked up a lot of detail but was more forgiving when I tried to make prints. Or it could be that the chemicals in my darkroom are finally imbibing my brain. Goodnight dear Oregon.
