Reading Grumbles.

I'm really disliking Nobuta's author, Gen Shiraiwa's, writing style. He's a Japanese Faulkner...and if his bloody book was written in English, that would be a compliment. Everything else about his book is managable; the story is interesting, I like the characters I've met thus far, the vocabulary is moderately easy, and there isn't that much Kanji ( Read more... )

Japanese writers have a style like that, in addition, they using that style on the treatise, so Japanese teacher (she's from Hakata) said I can recognize Korean student's treatise in a lot of treatises.
Japanese scholars write long sentence, usually, but we Korean write Japanese sentence shortly and individually.
Some people thinks it's traditional, and they like it, but it's the kind of hell for foreigner student.

And......Katakana, right?
senchi is cm.
Hotto is Hot coffee.
Go-hi is coffe.
Biru is Buliding (Bi ru ding)
Bi-ru is Beer.
Terebi is TV.
Homuran is Homerun......
.......wow,

and also, writing part is more difficult.

p.s
You like TOTORO? WOW,
but you probably don't like TORORO. (HAHAHA >ㅅ<)////

Tororo is a traditional food of JAPAN.
There are many many kind of Tororo.

Grate brown seaweed's root, yam(Dioscorea batatas),ear shell...etc...
and it's being gooey, you can put in your bean-paste soup (Miso-siru), and eat it.

Tororo is very gooey, like a Natto, you can imagine Tororo.

I've never eaten totoro!

Hm...I'm going to the Japanese food mart tomorrow. Maybe I'll try some. Or, at least look at it to see if it's interesting ><

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only person who thinks that Japanese writers are...difficult. Comics are easy. Short dialogue, ha ha! Novels are scarier. Oh well. It's the only way to learn, right?

Thank you for the katakana : D Writing it is difficult. I can never seem to get the spellings correct, so my marks are low on that. Ha ha
