At breakfast yesterday, four of us were brainstorming on what to do with the day. I needed to do a little Father's Day shopping, but that was the extent of my ambition. My friend Mikey suggested we go to the Cinema Under the Stars to see a James Bond movie. I was all over that.

The other day we watched a movie called Push, starring Dakota Fanning. While we were watching it, I thought, "She was in the movie The Runaways. I should watch that." Then yesterday, after seeing a post from titoagogo about the band, I knew I had to watch it.

Remember War Games from the 80's? It was a movie, starring 80's icons Matthew Broderick and Ally Sheedy, about giving computers enough power to conceivably cause nuclear war. This was at the height of the cold war, so people really got in to it.

It's almost summer, which means it's time for blockbuster movies. I just love the big movies that come out this time of year. They're almost always disappointing, but the anticipation and hype are almost as fun as the movies themselves.

We're having a big party at our house today, so I spent most of the day frantically cleaning and organizing. At one point, I went to the store for some random supplies.
