I quite love the show Portlandia. So, when it was my turn to pick where to go for our anniversary, I picked Portland, OR. JP and I had a lovely time. We mostly ate, drank, snuggled and shopped.

We're going to the drive-in tonight. I'm thrilled.

When I heard Star Tours 2 was officially opening on June 3rd, I almost immediately started making plans to be there. I'm a big Star Wars fan and an Annual Passholder for Disneyland, so it was a no-brainer.

I knew the lines would be bad, but I stood in line longer for that ride than for anything else in my life, ever.

My friend Mike is a great photographer. I don't really know how professional photography works, so I don't know if it's his camera or what he does, but he seems to be able to do magic with a camera.

We had JP's official birthday dinner last night, not to be confused with the unofficial birthday dinner or the official birthday pool party.

On this day, 45 years ago, a guy named JP was born, like, in New York... I think. He later moved to Sweden Switzerland where he learned how to properly pronounce words like "Ricola" and to accurately fake a Dutch accent.

Years later, he went on to start a podcast, through which he met the man of his dreams, ME.

It's the last day of my week-long vacation. I should have been back at work today, but I took a bonus day off.

The plan was for JP and me to sit around and watch movies all day. Well, it's past 2, and we've been all over town running errands so far.
