So I had a job interview yesterday, something right up my ally, Working at a fabric store. The interview went ok but I left not knowing if I wanted the job or not. Starting tomorrow- reducing my thyroid med from 88 MCG to 75 MCG. Lab result still too high .I was too low and the summer dr I had increased it so much, I went overboard and overdosed. Even though I have been sewing most of my life, I had never made a rag quilt. Very simple, easy and fast. I would recommend this for a beginner sewer. The cutting of squares is easy with a shape cutter guide and rotary cutter. I used flannel I already had. The only tedious part is the clipping which I am still working on. I should've known better. Buttons are expensive. Even small plain white ones. So I try to get them on clearence, save them from old clothes, etc. Even at thrift shops and such a small bottle of buttons can be $10. So I bought a set of 6 buttons off E-bay. I really need to vent about this as i don't know what to think. My husband has medicare with supplimental insurance added on. i don't have it as I don't qualify for it.
