The good news is the radiator's no longer obnoxiously loud and hissy. The bad news is that I only learned how to fix that problem thanks to the much damper problem of the radiator spilling water out of the gap at the base of the open/close knob onto the new carpet. No joke. For about 36 hours after running a mile, or interval training for 20 minutes, I get a mood boost + calm. It settles me, makes me more quietly energized, and erases a lot of cruft. Add in a good weights element and I come out feeling strong, which totally ups my confidence. It works better than when I was on prozac, which provided a floor ( Read more... )

Ok, I think they're gonna make it. They're chasing each other bunches, no real clashing, much less hissing, and both consider the litter box neutral ground.

Cricket is tiny but mighty, if sometimes skittish. And spooky's finally grown a backbone.

There's a new kitten in my house. She plays with the toys my cat abandoned, she attacks with vigor the scratching post I'd considered returning due to lack of use, and she eats dry food that Spooky could never stomach ( Read more... )
