Is it possible to make an animated icon like the one I'm using for this post, WITH A FRAME like that? I'm trying to make one and I can't for the life of me figure out how to do that! Do I just need to individually add a frame to each layer before I paste them into the same image, or is there an easier way to do it? :(

Um, hi! Call me lazy, but I'm wondering if anyone has a list of GIMP animation tutorials I can take a look at. I googled it, but I couldn't find anything really useful - all the tutorials I found were rather basic or unuseful - so if anyone can help me, that would be great.

I'm trying to make a decent animated icon, but unfortunately it ends up looking very very pixelised, including the text.
If the picture part doesn't turn out as nice I can still accept that, but the font become aliased and doesn't look good.
I've seen animated icons that have decent looking text, so I'm wondering if there's a way to make the text ( Read more... )

Why is it that since I got 2.4 all my annimation icons, banners look to have water marks all through the work, that never happened in 2.2
