Yay! I'm glad you found it!

I understand what you mean about the colors. Looking through a ghost is seeing into a black-and-white world, like an old TV show. They must see the whole world like that, all muted.

The aging quirks must be hard on people who like being in control. (Or is there a way to turn it off? I have a vague memory of that, but I could be making it up. Coffee, I need coffee.)

I believe that I can turn the story progression off. I haven't tried it though. I seem to recall, at one stage (six months ago probably), that there were a lot of posts about it being 'borked' and that installing Awesome Mod fixed it. Might go and see what I can read up about it now...

Coffee sounds good :)

That whole update was made of win, though how odd. It's like the rest of the neighborhood is aging faster than your family. 0.o I love that you got three baby-daddies in the first generation.

I hope you manage to find the urn too and boo on Gizor dying during the birthday. And just dying in general! Cursed birthday cakes. Maybe James will give the only boy this generation?

Thank you :)

I have found the urn, thanks to PixelCurious. It was in the mausoleum in the graveyard. I hadn't thought to check there at all.

I'm not sure what is up with the aging either. Gizor was made an elder prematurely, by my error. However James and Clifford should have been the same age. Maybe something happened to Clifford whilst he was missing from the game map? Story Progression is a bit odd.

And your last question... :D ... I've played but I'm not going to tell you :D

NO! Gizor can't be gone so soon! I really LIKED him. *sniff* The consoling animations are really touching, too. I have to give sims3 props for that (and the candy stealing, that makes the mean little part in me just delight!).

Clifford's scrawny chicken legs (and that outfit in general) gave me such JOY. And then another sim laughing at him! (again, the mean little part in me loved that).

Rae has had so much go on in her life. I can't believe it's still (technically) the founding generation. She's had enough drama for 5 generations.

*squints* Now about this James. *taps chin* I don't know. He's the one that got all slap happy before, right? While I do find the candy stealing funny, James just seems like bad news (despite the fluffy bunny slippers--speaking of, shame they aren't for elders--seems sims3 elders get the shaft like sims2 elders do, some things never change).

I love your legacy.

Is it just me, or does Gizor's face in the grieving thought-bubbles look a lot like George Washington?

Now that you mention it...

Yes, you're right - Gizor's face is longer. The side-by-side is instructive. :)

Sacrilegious? Well, he is the father of our country and all that, and we compose songs in his honor. But I think you're presenting rather an homage than showing disrespect, there.

wow! so much going on. awesome update. Zephyr is so pretty! I love it. Sad to see Gizor go. Sigh. I'm hoping I can find someone for him in my game a couple of generations down the road. :)

Thank you :)

I thought that Zephyr was a gorgeous toddler. I'm looking forward to (hopefully) seeing him & more progeny in yours, down the road sometime. It was a shame I messed up and he didn't get to feature as much as I had originally hoped in mine.

wow, so much happening!!!

O_O this picture! Absolutely stunning!!

I admit that ‘Cats-Bottom Pillage’ has an interesting ring to it but, well, in the end I decided to stick to Rae’s first love and named her after cheese.
LOLOL

It really does seem like there's a bad birthday curse on the house ... the scenes from Gizor's death are really sad :(((

Thank you for reading and commenting.

I agree, Zephyr looked so sweet in that picture. I'm not sure that Brie is quite as stunning. :)

I thought they were sad too, as I played. I seem to have had problems with birthdays ever since I messed up with the first cake and accidentally aged Gizor.

Thanks again.
