Finished my demo lesson about two and a half hours ago, have been home for maybe two. Personally, I feel like it went really well. I'm very happy with how I did and am thrilled with the students I worked with today. Could things have gone more smoothly? Of course. I had no sense of how it went when I left, but I was apparently charming and smart because I got a call back from the principal about three hours later asking me to come in to teach a demo lesson on Wednesday. It's at one of the high schools is the district I last interviewed in - the one with the middle school principal who adored me but not enough to actually give me a job. One of my former friends recently got a job at our old high school, the one that refused to hire me.
