A mixed bag from thefridayfive

1) Who is your favorite relative?

If I can count family who have passed away, my Nan - she used to come around to visit every Sunday, and I would show her all the same drawings I'd done, and she'd enjoy looking at them all. Losing her was quite difficult on me.

This week is Fitness Week, so I'm trying to do at least one 20 minute walk each day; I managed to walk for about half an hour this lunchtime, and managed to get a shot of some of the apples on a tree in the orchard just on the edge of town - it's a spot that looks nice at this time of year, but soon becomes unpleasant and muddy.

The big news this weekend is that I passed my fourth degree black belt grading; it's great news for me, as I did worry about it for ages - the scary part is at the end when everyones' names get read out, with their grades, and when there are 39 of us doing the grading because it's the first "in person" one for two years, it's more drawn out ( Read more... )
