t-1 week to alaska.  i'm so ready for an actual vacation.   And according to this, Cingular doesn't have a "mini-tower" on the cruise ship.  (http://onlinestorez.cingular.com/travelguide/)  :)

Thankfully they do have wireless for those down times so that I can randomly surf and blog as I please.

wow, what a productive day.
- Wake up at 5:45AM, Leave hotel by 6AM.
- Spend 2 hours driving 20 miles to Chicago O'Hare
- Hop on a plane an hour later
- Arrive in San Antonio 2.5 hours later
- Drive home. What normally takes 1-1/4 hours took about 2.
- Pass out

Imagine that..  A Microsoft blogging product that integrates with something other than MSN Spaces.  Seems to work well with LiveJournal and other blogs.  This is all goodness since they are using stanards-based API's, from what I know & read.   I spent more time here this past weekend than anywhere:  :)

I'm thinking its time to upgrade my aging 5.1MP Sony Cybershot camera, and thinking of going into a more entry level digital SLR variety.
The only one I see that's new & reasonably priced is the new Sony / Minolta one that just came out recently - the Alpha DSLR-A100.
Anyone heard any good/bad experiences out there or is it too new?

I need to have a long talk with the person who made the executive decision to schedule an event in NYC during a heat wave.
