Ok you Intel & Apple geeks...
I've been working with variants of the "Woodcrest" or Intel Xeon 51xx series processors and if you really are thinking about an upgrade - I can't stress enough that its the most significant jump Intel has made in processor performance in a long time. Upgrade! You know you want to. :) Core 2 Duo in the mobile space (aka Merom) is going to be another jump - but won't be as significant as this... Now, who wants to buy me one?
