When my college course finished, I was told that my results would be sent out to me on August 15. i.e. today. The only problem with that is that they don't arrive on that day! When I started doing this graphic design course, I was given a long list of art equipment that I needed for it. Some of the items I barely used and as I don't think I'll use them again, I'm seeing if any of you lot want them. There's not as much as I thought there would be because I'm keeping all the pencils, coloured pencils and markers as well ( Read more... )

The end of year show on Thursday night was... interesting. I got there just as it started at 7pm and it was already pretty busy with the Art & Design students and their families. The past few days have been chaotic with trying to get the end of year show ready for its opening tonight. I spent Monday putting up all the banners - well, the 6 banners that had been printed that is - and then Tuesday was spent setting up my book on display in the cabinet. Friday was a nightmare. My usual Friday timetable starts with L at 9.00 till 11.25 and then D from 11.30 to 1.00pm, at which point I scarf down my dinner and get the bus home at 1.15. Today is the deadline for my FMP. I didn't have the time to redo my sketch for Eleven so I'm rather disappointed about that. I had several things to finish off yesterday, including saving the entire book (and banner) as a .pdf which did not happen because my laptop could not deal with a 200+MB file.
