Busy busy busy

I've had quite a busy week so far. Although I didn't leave the house on Monday and Tuesday, I was still very busy. I've made a start on giving my website a seriously overdue update but at the same time, I'm also overhauling a lot of it. The bulk of it involves tidying up the navigation so that it's organised better but I'm also changing the ( Read more... )

Now that I know the photos look okay, I can get the rest of those pages sorted. I'm trying to decide whether I should update the site bit by bit, or if I should do it all in one go. The first would result in possible confusion and broken links, but it would at least look like it was being worked on! Plus it would encourage me to get my finger out and finish it ( ... )

I'm not a fan of broken links or confusion, but if it means you get your finger out and finish it, I vote for updating bit by bit! ;) And it'll feel so good to look at it and see how shiny and nice it looks, and when it's all done you'll feel so accomplished. *nodnod ( ... )

I probably will do it bit by bit, mostly so that I can show off how shiny my photo pages are now and impress everyone with my mad coding skillz.

Yummies of the chocolate variety mostly. I just got two little boxes of Schogetten (German chocolates), white chocolate with dark chocolate sprinkles, and coconut. It's not very exciting chocolate, it's kind of cheap but they do have very unusual flavours (d'you fancy Tiramisu flavour? or mango lassi?) The fly thing is a sort of fly trap but it fixes to the window and looks like this. (I've just realised it was a 3 pack and mine appears to only have one in it. Buggeration ( ... )

Ikea restaurant is a bit crap though. I don't eat meat, don't like pasta, and unfortunately I'd had fish and chips the day before so I was struggling to find something I could have. If the soup had been a meat one, I'd have been buggered. The Daim cake looked really sickly which is why I went for the apple cake. At least the prices were reasonable, it was only £4 for soup, roll, cake and a cup of tea.

Yay cushions and glasses and trips out, glad the cushion is comfy tho none of the current IKEA colour choices for their soft furnishings are quite my cup of tea... Tesco have usually got nice mugs, my fave ones came from Poundstretcher a year or so back, big friendly maroon and brown ones with nice solid handles, I like mugs, chunkier the better.

We don't have a Tesco here unfortunately. I went into town on Saturday and got two from a cheapy shop that was good. I like nice bright colourful mugs but they all seem to have flowers on at the moment. Not my thing at all!
