Busy busy busy

I've had quite a busy week so far. Although I didn't leave the house on Monday and Tuesday, I was still very busy. I've made a start on giving my website a seriously overdue update but at the same time, I'm also overhauling a lot of it. The bulk of it involves tidying up the navigation so that it's organised better but I'm also changing the ( Read more... )

Now that I know the photos look okay, I can get the rest of those pages sorted. I'm trying to decide whether I should update the site bit by bit, or if I should do it all in one go. The first would result in possible confusion and broken links, but it would at least look like it was being worked on! Plus it would encourage me to get my finger out and finish it ( ... )

I'm not a fan of broken links or confusion, but if it means you get your finger out and finish it, I vote for updating bit by bit! ;) And it'll feel so good to look at it and see how shiny and nice it looks, and when it's all done you'll feel so accomplished. *nodnod ( ... )

I probably will do it bit by bit, mostly so that I can show off how shiny my photo pages are now and impress everyone with my mad coding skillz.

Yummies of the chocolate variety mostly. I just got two little boxes of Schogetten (German chocolates), white chocolate with dark chocolate sprinkles, and coconut. It's not very exciting chocolate, it's kind of cheap but they do have very unusual flavours (d'you fancy Tiramisu flavour? or mango lassi?) The fly thing is a sort of fly trap but it fixes to the window and looks like this. (I've just realised it was a 3 pack and mine appears to only have one in it. Buggeration ( ... )

Your mad coding skillz are super impressive and so are your shiny photo pages. I don't blame you for wanting to show them off. :)

Yay, chocolate yummies! Any chocolate that isn't American is exciting chocolate. :P Tiramisu and mango aren't really my thing, but fank you. The hazelnut looks good though, and the milk chocolate, and the dark chocolate, and the nougat, and the cappuccino, and the caramel ... O:-) And yay fly traps, but feh to only getting one and not three. I hope it works so you're not inundated with bugs! You deserve a nice breeze and no bugs.

I'm just about positive it was the Asda one - I remember the bag saying Asda. And I'm pretty sure it had almonds. Silly Sainsbury's and Asda, trying to confuse us!

Yay, two mugs! You are indeed a prince so I highly approve of the Prince mug, and the Spirograph mug sounds fun even if it's not actually Spirograph stuffs on it. (Now I'm wondering if I can find my Spirograph in the attic to play with!) Can I see pics?

We have some really cheap crappy chocolate here that is about as tasty as Hershey's. I will bring you some and you can see for yourself. And I will point and laugh and say 'I told you so!'

When I was in town recently, I went into the pound shop and they had insect screens. It's actually a length of mesh stuff and some sticky velcro so I thought I could use it to make screens for my new windows. Hopefully, that will help keep the bugs out too.

I couldn't remember which one we got first but thinking about it, I think it was the Sainsbury's one and then we got the Asda one as we shopped there. There isn't an Asda round here, so I'll have to drive up specially to get one.

hehe I look forward to learning about this really cheap crappy non-American chocolate. I had no idea such a thing existed. If it really is comparable to Hershey's, that's quite impressive! You can say 'I told you so' when I taste it, if you must. :P

Oooo, insect screens. That would be brilliant if you could make screens for your windows. Begone, foul many-legged thingies!

Oh dear, that's a bit of a trip. If it's going to be a pain to get the cereal, you don't have to. They were both yummy, weren't they? So if the Sainsbury's one is easier to get, you could bring that instead.
