There is so much fandom stuff I'm behind with right now. But I think life has finally calmed down enough for me to deal with it. I swear, by tomorrow, everything will be sorted.

I don't really want to get into what's been up with me, because it's not my story to tell, but suffice to say that my life would be a lot easier if I was an only child.

Why are the worst writers always the most prolific? Here I am, waiting patiently for the WIPs I'm following to update, or my favourite writers to post something new, and ... this person ... keeps posting 90-chaptered shit fest after 90 chaptered shit fest. I think nothing summarises the difference between SGA and Sherlock fandom better than the fact that on the Sherlock AO3, there's a 86 chapters (and counting) long reader/Sherlock-character-of your-choice self-insert fic that's got 124 kudos.

Any complaints we make about the SGA fandom are hereby invalid forever more.

This minor Sherlock obsession has been going on for almost a week now. I don't think it will ever develop past being a fling since my affection for the canon is almost non-existent (with one notable exception) and I haven't really been impressed with the fic quality. For some reason I'm really attracted to the idea of John and Nancy having what amounts to a fairy-tale romance right until that moment when they realize loving one another isn't enough to make their marriage work.
