Initial reports are that the cancer has not spread and that she will not need chemo. We'll know more after they finish with all the tests on the tissue they removed. She's in the hospital in Macon, but I don't know how long she'll be in yet. Hopefully I'll get to talk to her today.
Just a quick update before I head back down to the hell that is our Douglasville location. Mom definitely has breast cancer. She will be having a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction on December 30th. We are nervous but optomistic. I will be going in the new year for my annual and to schedule my first baseline mammogram....at age 31. We now have

Last night I got a call from my mom that my uncle's landlord had called her and that she thought they had found his body in his apartment. My uncle has had many problems throughout the years, most of them undiagnosed mental issues. Last week, at his insistance, my mom drove up from Macon to Atlanta to take him to a lawyer to draw up his will. He

Last night I dozed off while listening to the election coverage. I woke up a little after 11:00 to see the video of the many celebrations around the counry of Obama's victory. I smiled turning the TV off and snuggled back up to Mandy to go to sleep
