I had the monumental pleasure of seeing The Avengers at the cinema on Saturday. We booked one of the few 2D showings and got to watch in a packed cinema - always great for atmosphere. I'm sure everybody has seen the excellent and exciting trailer for The Avengers by now. It certainly got my heartrate racing. It reminded me again of just how much I fancy Hawkeye. Today I'm back to work after having last week off. It was a lovely time. Anthony had taken the week off too. We visited the Isle of Wight - the first time I've ever been and I loved it because it reminded me a lot of Cornwall. It was really charming and picturesque. Livejournal is back online and Anthony & I went to see Captain America: The First Avenger yesterday. The short review is, I liked it, it was hugely enjoyable and fun and really made me smile. Another thumbs up to Marvel!

Saw Thor yesterday with my hubby and the fabulous quantumdoll We had to see it in 3D, extremely annoying and pointless as the film wasn't made for 3D, but we coped. Happy New Year, one and all! :) I feel like I've just emerged from deep underwater.

It's been a busy festive period. Needless to say, our travels went well and we had great times at both parental homes. Many awesome presents were given and recieved. I got to see two films for the first time that I've wanted to see for ages - Iron Man 2 and Inception ( Read more... )
