Yes, it’s probably a cliché to have chosen this video to celebrate Debbie Reynolds but I love Singin’ In The Rain and I love her in it and look at how she keeps up with Gene Kelly and Donald O’Conner! Half of Status Quo, a British rock band, a proper institution. He properly lived the cliche rock 'n' roll lifestyle and didn't regret a moment of it. He rocked for over 50 years. I didn't realise Greg Lake had died until I searched out his seasonal hit 'I Believe In Father Christmas' for the first time this year. It's a truly beautiful thoughtful song that attachs the commercialism of Christmas and it's always a fascinating lovely listen for me. The lyrics are so beautiful and haunting.
