Half of Status Quo, a British rock band, a proper institution. He properly lived the cliche rock 'n' roll lifestyle and didn't regret a moment of it. He rocked for over 50 years. I didn't realise Greg Lake had died until I searched out his seasonal hit 'I Believe In Father Christmas' for the first time this year. It's a truly beautiful thoughtful song that attachs the commercialism of Christmas and it's always a fascinating lovely listen for me. The lyrics are so beautiful and haunting. This is a particularly nostalgic Christmas song for Brits of a certain age. In the Nineties, there was the explosion of pop music popularity and with that came the battle of the boybands. I was looking forward to this wrestling show but also I wasn’t. Let me explain. It was PROGRESS’s biggest ever show, at the Brixton Academy in London, meaning there would be three times the normal amount of fans present.
