I have to confess that I've only ever seen clips of Terry Wogan, but I was definitely familiar with his reputation as a broadcaster and the tireless work he did for charity. I know there were several posts in some of my British Facebook communities lamenting Wogan's passing, so it's obvious that he was greatly loved and will certainly be missed. It's comforting that he's left behind such a wonderful legacy.

Yeah, he was very much a British institution, a huge figure. It's amazing all he achieved, in the media and for charity. It's certainly a big loss.
