Pretty high energy day for a Monday. Lots of the Killers and the Strokes on my IPOD. Very productive day at work. Tonight will just be a quiet night at home playing video games with Ian.

Good times.

Finally managed to completely cut artificial sugar from my diet. One small step on a road to living a bit healthier. Still too much regular sugar in my diet, but at least that is somewhat natural.

Got up early this morning. Got the corned beef boiling away. Altan playing in the living room and getting some last minute cleaning up/decorating done. A good day for a party.

Another beautiful day for airing out the house and playing with Ian outside. Even managed a trip to the House of 1000 beers and am now making a nice pork loin for dinner. Yum. Good beer, good food, good weather and good times with the family.

Beer Geek meetup night and always good to hang with Franc & Amy. Really looking forward to tonight.

Had a great day yesterday. Woke up early an got some errands run. Bought a new sled for Ian and then all 3 of us went to the sledding park at Twin Lakes. They put in 3 large long troughs in the ground specifically to be used as a sledding area. There was even a fire pit you could warm yourself up with. Trick or treat night tonight. Ian has his Koshchei costume and is eager to go through the neighborhood with Rachel and Mom. I will be manning the door handing out candy crack to all the little monsters who come by.

Went to work at 7 AM this morning. At 8 AM they closed all the state offices so I had a wonderful "found day" with my wife. We went to Pipers Pub and Fat Head in Southside for lunch and still made it home in time to have nice nap before Ian got home from school.
