Found Day
Went to work at 7 AM this morning. At 8 AM they closed all the state offices so I had a wonderful "found day" with my wife. We went to Pipers Pub and Fat Head in Southside for lunch and still made it home in time to have nice nap before Ian got home from school. After these last couple of months of barely seeing each other it was nice to have a day to ourselves for intimacy and conversation.
Got the call tonight that the office is closed again tomorrow. Yeah! Another unexpected but appreciated day coming up. And the best part is I still get paid.
